Installation mainly consists of through-hole through-wall type and surface screw fixation type. The through-wall bolts pass through the door panel and are tightened to lock, providing strong support and being less likely to fall off, which is mostly used for thick wooden doors; screw fixation only requires screwing the screws into the surface of the door panel, making the installation simple, and suitable for thin wood doors, cabinet doors, and renovation projects. When purchasing, it is necessary to match the thickness of the door panel to select the corresponding fasteners.

The design options are very diverse. Traditional styles often feature animal head collars and floral patterns, carrying auspicious meanings; simple styles are plain round rings, suitable for modern and light luxury styles. The ring body is divided into movable knock and fixed decoration types. The movable type can be knocked on the base to produce sounds, combining functionality and aesthetics, and is more popular in export and home decoration markets.
